Wine Undurraga, “Altazor” Maipo Valley DO, 2017

Description

Altazor – unique, delicious wine, named after the poem Vicente Huidobro, the Chilean poet. In the production of wine grapes used Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Syrah and Petit Verdot, which grow on the oldest vines in the heart of the Maipo Valley – Talagante. The harvest for the vintage 2010 was conducted from late April to mid-May. Berries undergone desteblirovaniyu and refinement. Cold maceration lasted for 4-5 days. Fermentation was carried out at a controlled temperature of 28 C. Maceration lasted 25-30 days. Malolactic fermentation took place in French oak barrels. Withstand the wine for 14 months in French oak barrels, of which 50% – new. Before entering the market, the wine “Altazor” aged for 18 months in the bottle in the cellars of the winery.
Wine “Altazor” won a number of medals and awards at various international competitions.
