Description

The range of wines “Scaia” got its name from the volcanic rocks that occur in layers of white limestone soils of the region Illasi Valley. Pink semi-dry wine Tenuta Sant’Antonio, “Scaia” Rosato, 2013 was made from grapes Rondinela. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 200-300 meters above sea level, the average age of the vines – 10-15 years. Winery Tenuta Sant’Antonio belongs to four brothers – Titian, Armando, Paolo and Massimo Castaeda. The winery is located in the eastern part of the Valpolicella area called Monte Gharbi, on behalf of the hill, near which it is located. Vineyards cover an area of 50 hectares, 20 hectares of which went to the brothers inherited from their father Antonio Castaeda, and 30 hectares were purchased by the brothers in 1989.
