Description
Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG wine is made from a blend of red grape varieties, the vines of which grow in the vineyard on the estate of Tenuta Poggio ai Mandorli in the heart of the Tuscan wine region of Chianti Classico. The crop ripens at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level on soils, which are a mixture of marl, limestone, sand, clay and pebbles. Fermentation of grape must is traditionally carried out in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Then the wine is aged 20 months in French oak barrels and is additionally aged 90 days in bottles.
