Description
Wine Tedeschi, Amarone della Valpolicella is made from grapes harvested from different sites located in the hills of Valpolicella (and in Mezzane Tregnago). Other origins of different varieties of grapes is very important for a well-balanced wine with good structure. The harvest is picked by hand in late September-early October. The grapes are dried for about 4 months in conditions with strict control of humidity. After soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation and maceration for 40-60 days at 15 C and maintained for three years wine in oak barrels and after bottling – another 6 months. The potential of this highly durable storage of wine is 18-20 years.
