  • “Suisassi” – red dry wine with a strong personality. It is made from grapes Syrah, vinification and aging in barrels which the different types of wood and with varying degrees of roasting. During manufacture, the wine is fermented in two- and three-year barriques at a controlled temperature with regular batonazhem. After maceration, which lasts about two weeks, the wine is poured into new barriques (half of them are made of French oak, the other – from the US), where it is aged from 12 to 15 months. After bottling wine ages for at least 6 months.

    The history of the winery Duemani began in 2000 with the acquisition of family D’Attoma site on the Tuscan coast. Luca and Elena D’Attoma found untouched piece of land near the medieval village of Riparbella, which is in the valley of the river Cecina. It is situated on a hillside 200 meters. Luke D’Attoma oenologist and Mathieu Boucher very strictly adhere to the rules that govern biological and biodynamic care. This means that at the farm does not use chemicals. Work is carried out manually and are aimed at encouraging energy plants and the earth, allowing to activate the power of the various elements, which ultimately yields a harvest, full of vitality and natural nutrients. The intervention reduced to a minimum, to nature itself maintains the balance of their systems. This same philosophy of work is practiced in the manufacture of wine. Vinification takes place in cement vats and oak without using artificial yeast, sulfur dioxide and other additives.
