The wine is pumped daily for optimum color and aromatic qualities. The wort is mixed and allowed to stand for 6 months, after which the wine is bottled.
The history of wine Spier house, located about 50 kilometers from Cape Town, dates back to 1692, when the burghers moved here to create your own wine farms. The whole complex of buildings sector has cultural and historical value – the architectural style of buildings, known as Cape Dutch, combines elements of medieval European architecture.
