Description
“Black Colonel” – a vintage fortified red wine that is made from grapes of indigenous varieties (Cevat-Kara, Ekim-Kara, Kefesiya) and two breeding varieties – Bastardo Magarach and Odessa Black. Conducted a comparative study of 29 brands of Crimean wine similar type showed that the “black colonels” contains on average 2.6 times more phenolic components that play a major role in the formation of color, aroma and flavor of wine. Exposure for three years in oak barrels makes wine more complex, rich and harmonious.
During the ten years of its existence, the wine “Black Colonel” won at international competitions and tastings of two cups “Grand Prix”, 13 gold and one bronze medal.
