  • “Crognolo” – the first wine released economy Sette Ponti. The name of this elegant drink comes from the word “Cornus” – so called wild dogwood shrub that grows on the estate winery. On a combination of price and quality is “Supertuscan” wine surpasses even the famous “Tignanello”, for which he was called in America “Tignanello-killer”. The wine shows its full potential and rich aroma of grapes Sangiovese, which is filled with fruity notes and hints of ripe cherries. The vineyards are located in the central part of Tuscany, in the hilly area (250 meters above sea level) and have a southern exposure. The soils of this area – mainly clay and sand. The average age of the vines – 17-22 years. The grapes are harvested by hand in order to select the best berries. Wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks with an open top for 20 days at a constant controlled temperature lowering caps wort. Then, the process of natural maceration.     Winery Sette Ponti is located in the central part of Chianti. The name translates as “seven bridges”.
