Description

Wine “Vigneti di Monteforte” Soave Classico from Santi company owes its name to Dante Alighieri, who was a great friend Kangrande I – Prince of Verona. This wine is one of the most famous Italian white wines in the world. One of the most important characteristics of the wine is a rigorous selection of grapes, and thanks to the long aging on the lees of wine aroma and flavor takes the complexity and richness. Crop harvested in early October, drained and kept in a press with long cold maceration. Thereafter, the wort is fermented at a controlled temperature of 10-14 C in stainless steel. Spring assemblage produce varieties Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave, which increases the complexity and completeness of this magnificent aromatic wine.

Santi winery was founded in 1843 when Attilio Carlo Santi began production of the classic wines of Soave, Valpolichela, Recioto, Amarone and Bardolino from grapes grown in the region’s top vineyards in the valley of Illasi, situated among the mountains Lessini. Own vineyards, wineries extend over 70 hectares, including 40 hectares located in the Valpolicella Classico, and the rest – in Bardolino Classico Soave Classico. For centuries, Santi conducts strict quality control at all stages of production – from the work in the vineyard to bottling and storage. Now Santi winery is equipped with all modern technologies.
