Wine San Polo, “Rubio”, Toscana IGT, 2019

Description

Rubio word means “red” in Latin, that it has been selected to describe the rich ruby color of this wine. Rubio made exclusively from Sangiovese, which in Tuscany often referred to as “His Majesty Sangiovese” – because of its capricious nature. Wine is aged for 10-12 months in oak barrels and some time in the bottle. The result is excellent and powerful full-bodied wine that is perfect for meat dishes. Every year it produces about 30,000 bottles.
