Wine Poggio Argentiera, “Maremmante”, Maremma Toscana IGT, 2018

Description

Dry red organic wine “Maremmante”, 2016 created from two grapes – Syrah and Cabernet Franc. Berries are grown organically in two zones of the Maremma region of Tuscany. The vineyards in the village of Baccinello are located at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level. Soils of alluvial origin, consisting mainly of clay and limestone, contain large amounts of coarse pebbles. Sites with sandy clay soils in the town of Alberese are located at sea level. Grapes are harvested by hand in small boxes. Alcoholic fermentation on the skin lasts about two weeks. Both fermentation and ripening of wine take place in steel tankers at a controlled temperature, due to which the wine has a bright fruit and berry taste and aroma. The wine is ready to drink, but it can be perfectly stored for 3-4 years.
