Wine Ottella, “Molceo” Riserva, Lugana DOC, 2020

Description

Grapes Trebbiano di Lugana to create great dry white wine “Molceo” harvested by hand in small boxes to 17 kg. Within 25 days of dried grapes in small boxes, and then made a quick maceration of the skin, followed by fermentation in barriques. Over one year the wine is aged in small barrels, followed by bottling.
“Molcheo” 2009 – an unusually soft, wonderfully balanced wine with a delicate fruity flavor and delicate, elegant, complex flavor.

According to legend, the name of the winery appeared in the XVI century, as evidenced by the coat of arms, which is preserved in the courtyard of the estate. “In the XVI century winery was known as the only manufacturer of Verona” – an extract from “La provincia di verona ed I suoi vini” (“Province of Verona and wine “), G. Azienda Agricola Ottella is in the region of Lugano in Peschiera del Garda, on the southern shore of Lake Garda. Winery owners – brothers Ludovico and Francesco Montresor, as well as their father Michel – successfully combine fidelity to local winemaking traditions with modern technologies. Vineyards, mainly from Trebbiano variety, grown on clay-limestone soils of the coast, in a mild climate that promotes excellent ripening.
