Description
“Corte Vaona” Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG – a great red wine from the renowned wine region of Veneto. It received its name in honor of the old courtyard (Italian for “corte” – yard), which was located in the estate owned by the family Vaona in the XVIII century. In place of this court today is Novayya winery, but the memory of the history of the wine got such name. To create the grapes were selected personally Vaona brothers, so as “eminent” wine happy balanced, smooth taste. “Corte Vaona” Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is created from a blend of varieties Corvina, Korvinone, Rondinella and other local grapes. The harvest is picked by hand in late September, and then placed in a so-called “fruttayo” – cellars for storage of fruits, where the berries are dried a little. Further, they are separated by ridges gently crushed and subjected to cold maceration followed thirty small steel fermentation tanks under controlled temperature. Aged wine for 24 months in barrels and then – still contains an additional 8 months in bottles.
