  • “Survivor” – a line of titled wines, each of which has repeatedly received awards at national and international competitions. It was named after the cow of Nguni, the traditional cattle of the Zulu people in South Africa. A curious incident occurred in the Oververex vineyards of this cow. She was transported in a truck when a cow unexpectedly jumped out of the truck and ran into adjacent vineyards. She not only survived a bold leap, but later had many descendants. The Survivor wines, whose name translates as survivors, survivors, speak of her success, and several drinks in the range called Survivor Offspring (offspring of the survivors) speak of her children. Having tasted them, you will feel like jumping through the vineyards against the backdrop of the beautiful nature of South Africa.

The impressive white wine “Survivor” Chenin Blanc is obtained from low-yielding areas with red soils that have the ability to retain moisture and give the structure and fullness of wines. The vines were planted in such a way as to optimally use the cool sea breezes of the Bengal. They give temperature fluctuations in the summer from 20 to 30 C. Harvesting occurs at optimum maturity in the early morning hours. Dry ice and sulfur are added before transportation to protect the grapes from oxidation. Squeezed juice does not come in contact with the skin and immediately drains. Recovery methods were used to preserve as much character and complexity of taste as possible. 30% of the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 12 C for 3 weeks. 70% of the berries were fermented and aged in barrels for 4 months. Only then were the wines mixed and bottled.
Wine “Survivor” Chenin Blanc won the gold medal “South African Wine Index Awards 2020” and silver medals “Michelangelo International Awards 2019”, “International Wine & Spirit Competition 2018”.
