Description
“El Misionero” Tempranillo – fresh dry red wine made from selected Tempranillo grapes. The berries grow in the vineyards of the estate in the La Mancha region. The soil consists of clay, limestone and sand with a high content of small stones. Tempranillo grapes are very common in this region and are widely used by local winemakers to create wines with deep, rich color, moderate tannins and a wide range of aromas. The region is dominated by a continental climate, calcareous soils and low rainfall. The vineyards on the mountain slopes are protected from the winds and produce consistently high quality harvests. Harvested when the berries reach optimum ripeness. After soft pressing, the wort is subjected to the traditional vinification used for red grapes. Wine “El Misionero” Tempranillo is produced by the Bodegas Ls Marcos winery especially for the Bodegas Parra Dorada company.
