  • “Vino M’artville” Aladasturi is a refined dry red wine, for the production of which Aladasturi grapes are used, cultivated in the Imereti region in western Georgia. After harvesting, when the grapes reach the optimal level of ripeness, the berries are sorted, separated from the ridges and passed through a press. Fermentation with the skin takes place in qvevri on natural yeast. Before bottling, the wine is not filtered, therefore it may contain a slight sediment. No sulfur dioxide is added during the vinification process.

The line of wines “Vino M’artville” traces its history back to 2012, when Zaza Gagua, Nika and Abesal Partsvania began to revive vineyards near the villages of Targameuli and Martvili, located at the foot of the mountains in Western Georgia. Old Megrelian grape varieties were planted, such as the Ojaleshi variety, which was on the verge of extinction due to various circumstances. The vineyards adhere to organic methods of growing vines, in addition, Zaza Gagua is a member of the Natural Winemaking Association, therefore, does not use sulfites in the production of wine.
