Description
“Querciavalle” Chianti Classico – a historical wine that best interprets the characteristics of its origin – the region of Chianti Classico. Over the years, the family Lozi was able to give this wine its imprint, keeping unchanged its unmistakable aroma and taste over time, based on the tradition of Chianti. The wine is made from grape varieties Sangiovese and Canaiolo Toscano, which is grown in the farm Querchavalle, owned by the Lozi family. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 300-350 meters above sea level, have an excellent south-western exposure and are constantly flooded with sunlight, which contributes to the full and uniform ripening of the grapes. Vinification consists of fermentation in stainless steel vats at a temperature not exceeding 28 C for 12-18 days. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in concrete tanks. Then the wine is aged 12-18 months in large French oak barrels and 3-6 months bottled.
