Description
Livon, Merlot is a fragrant, harmonious wine, originally from the region of Collio (Friuli). Here, on the hilly lands, generously endowed with the sun, grow a variety of Merlot. The berries are collected by hand and subjected to soft pressing, followed by fermentation at controlled temperature. Fermentation is carried out on the skin and lasts 18 days. Then comes the waiting list. 70% of wine is placed in steel tanks, and the remaining 30% – in barrels of French oak. After that, the wine is combined and bottled, leaving for a fairly long time to be bottled before it goes on sale.
Refined Livon, Merlot will please with a soft, rich taste and exquisite bouquet with a predominance of berry and fruit notes. This wine will perfectly complement the dishes of their meat, game, stew and pasta. The wine aging potential is 5-7 years.
