Description
“Zamo Bianco” – an excellent white wine that will please many fans of Italian alcoholic beverages. Harvest for this wine, which includes five different varieties of grapes, harvested by hand and fermented separately. 70% of the berries are pressed immediately after harvest – the resulting wort settles and fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The remaining 30% of the raw material (grape varieties Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc) are kriomatseratsiyu during the day, then – pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature (18-20 C) in stainless steel tanks. 50% of the must undergoes malolactic fermentation. Then the wine is aged for six months on the lees.
Zamo family for a long time had a very indirect relationship guilt – Luigi Zamo only contained a small wine tavern. However, in 1978, his son Tullio bought 5 acres of land on a hillside Bernard, one of the leading regions of Italian wine – Friuli. Thus began the history winery Le vigne di Zamo. For 10 years Tullio Zamo not only successfully increased the size of its vineyards, but also produced several wines (“Abbazia di Rosazzo”, “Ronco dei Roseti”), won high honors and staggering popularity in Italy. By the beginning of the new millennium, the family owned Zamo 35 hectares of excellent vineyards, cellars with new, modern winery and restaurant.
Today, Le Vigne di economy Zamo has about 55 hectares of vineyards in the territory of Rocca Bernardo, Buttrio and Rosazzo. The farm produces a wide range of wines based on indigenous, and the European varieties. Red wines from Le vigne di Zamo are bright fruity taste and rich aroma, and white wines have unparalleled freshness and purity.
