  • “Vintage Tunina” – a great white wine, created from grapes Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Ribola Jalla, Malvasia and Picolit. This – “field blend”, a term meaning that the grapes for this blend is grown, collected and fermented together. The grapes are harvested from the vineyard “Ronco del Fortino”, which occupies 16 hectares. Soil vineyard oriented to the south-west and north-east, typical of Collio – dominated by granite and sandstone of Eocene period. Fermentation of grapes takes place in steel tanks. Wine storage capacity is on average 7-8 years, but for the best vintages exceed 10 years.

The name of the wine “Vintage Tunina” comes from the pet name Tunina (Anthony). Was the name of the first owner of the land on which was built the winery Jermann. But there was another Tunina, who lived in the 1700s in Venice. She was a maid for a wealthy family and was the only lover Casanova, having a commoner. It is this romantic and intriguing personality and devoted his wine Silvio Jermann.
“Vintage Tunina” repeatedly received the title of “Wine of the Year” by Gambero Rosso, and in 1998 won his first “Wine Oscars” (Oscar del Vino) from the Association of Italian Sommeliers (AIS). Wine eight times was named the best white wine in Italy. In 2008, “Vintage Tunina” was named by the British magazine “Decanter” one of the 50 greatest wines of Italy.

Silvio Jermann – true revolutionary winemaking. Before him, Friuli region located in northern Italy, has always had a reputation manufacturer of light aromatic white wines that are easy to drink, but not of particular interest outside the area. Silvio, who graduated from two well-known wine academy: Kornelyano and Instituto de San Michele enriched rather bold ideas, began its work in Canada. This gave him the opportunity to conduct experiments, which he could not even dream of at home, where winemakers steadily followed the conservative ideas and long-standing tradition.
Already in the 70’s Silvio returned to his homeland, where his great-grandfather inherited the winery Anton Yermana. Thanks to its experience, innovative ideas and commitment to the traditions of Silvio began to produce the best white wines of the country. His “Vintage Tunina”, “Capo Martino” and “W … Dreams” stretch led the Italian company ratings and brought incredible success and worldwide fame.

Today ownership Jermann stretches over 150 hectares of land, of which 130 hectares are vineyards, while the remaining 20 are given under cereal crops grown for the production of organic flour. Basic principles upheld by the company in the production of their Jermann wines – is a skilful combination of tradition and innovation and boundless imagination. And of course, – the use of historical local grapes. In the words of Silvio, the wine must awaken the senses and give a sense of authenticity.
