Wine J.Bouchon, “Reserva” Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021

Description

J.Bouchon Reserva line was designed to showcase the best terroirs Maule Valley through expressive wines of high quality. This line is made from carefully selected grapes from their own areas of the company in Santa Rosa, Las Mercedes and Mingre.
“Reserva” Cabernet Sauvignon – Chilean red wine from Cabernet Sauvignon plantation estates Santa Rosa and Las Mercedes in the Maule Valley. Sandy rocky soil Santa Rosa give the wine floral aromas and loam Las Mercedes give structure and body. The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of April and transported to the winery in 16 kg plastic boxes. Practiced double selection of berries. Fermentation and maceration are in stainless steel containers for 12 days at a temperature of 24-28C. After that, 50% of the wine is aged in old French oak barrels for 4 months. Wine storage capacity is more than 4 years.
