GVMT Group, “Alazneli” Kindzmarauli – Georgian semi-sweet red wine, for the production of which selected Saperavi grapes are used. The grapes are grown in the village of Kindzmarauli, located in Eastern Georgia on the slopes of the Caucasus Range. The unique soil composition, the mountain waters rich in minerals, containing grains of gold and silver, give the grapes grown here and the wines created from it a wonderful, unique taste. Saperavi is perhaps the most popular Georgian grape variety. In the Kakheti region, the Saperavi grape has the best varietal expression, therefore it is widely cultivated by local winemakers. Its intense color and characteristic acidity make Saperavi ideal for mono-varietal wines.

“Alazneli” Kindzmarauli is produced in accordance with the Georgian law “On Vines and Wine” dated 12.06.1998. The grapes harvested at the time of optimum ripeness are carefully sorted and softly pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel vats in contact with the pulp at a controlled temperature of 28-30 C with regular pumping of the wort, at least 3-4 times a day. When the required level of residual sugar is reached, fermentation is forcibly stopped by cold and the juice is separated from the pulp. After filtering and pasting, the wine is bottled.
