Description
“Giodo” La Quinta Sangiovese, 2021 is a refined and expressive wine that skillfully reflects the sophistication of its terroir. The bottle label depicts a man who lives in the world of wine and is open to any combinations and blends.
The Sangiovese grapes used for this wine come from the fifth vineyard planted by Carlo Ferrini. Fermentation takes 7 days in steel tanks, and maceration on the skins takes 13. The wine is then aged for 12 months: half in 500- and 2500-liter oak barrels, and half in cocciopesto amphorae. After bottling, the wine is further aged in bottles for 6 months.
