Description
Wine “La Casetta” Ripasso is produced from grapes grown exclusively in Azienda Agricola La Casetta di Ettore Rigetti. The wine has a rich aroma and a full, concentrated, rich flavor with a balance of style and fun. The vineyards are located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classic, a mountain resort in Negrar Tramanal at an altitude of 230 to 270 meters above sea level. The exposition area – western, soils dominated by clay and limestone. Age of vines is 15 years, planting density – 2500 vines per hectare. Harvested in the middle of October manually. Grapes crushed and ground, and then fermented at 25 to 28 C and 12 days with a daily constant maceration pressing programmed to a frequency of 20 minutes. The wine is stored in stainless steel tanks until the end of May, and then moves in oak barrels and therein maintained for 18-24 months. After bottling, the wine is still 4 to 6 months aged in the bottle.

Domini Veneto – top of the range wines cooperative Cantina Valpolicella Negrar is the result of a long-term project for the allocation of the best plots cru, lower yields on them and thereby improve the quality of wines. Domini Veneti name recalls a time when the land was part of the Valpolicella powerful Venetian Republic.
Winery Cantina Valpolicella Negrar was organized in 1933 from several small manufacturers uncompetitive. Today Cantina Negrar – an association of 180 winegrowers, one of the largest wine-producing cooperatives in Italy. They advise and coordinate the activities of about 200 owners of vineyards, whose total area is 500 hectares. Old recipes combined with modern innovations that are used with great caution and care – a guarantee of high quality. All the vineyards are located on the slopes of the hills of Valpolicella Classico region north-west of Verona. Annual production capacity now stands at over 8 million bottles of wine produced from more than 60,000 quintals (13 million. Pounds) of grapes.
