  • Dry red wine “Soler”, in 2010 by the fourth generation of winemakers – Italian family De Stefani, famous throughout Italy and far beyond its borders for its excellent qualities: unusually rich aroma with notes of ripe fruit and excellent taste comprehensive. Born in a unique wine region of Veneto in the north-east of the country and nurtured by caring hands of winemakers, “Soler” gives a rare sense of harmony and pleasant freshness mature wine.
The name of the wine “Soler” inherited from the place where according to the technology of dried grapes – from the attic or barn (“Soler”). And although over time wine entered the era of innovative technologies using the latest equipment here, as well as many years ago, the best grapes harvest continue to dry naturally in the attic, so the wine acquires greater smoothness and characteristic notes of licorice.

An interesting blend of wine, “Soler” consists of equal parts of four grape varieties, two of which – autochthonous, local (Refosco and Martsemino), and two – international (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon). Martsemino grown on the estate “Kolvendrame” in Refrontolo, between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene hills north of Venice. The local soils are particularly rich in clay and tuff. Other varieties grown on the estate “Le Ronche”, located in Fossalta di Piave, on alluvial soils, very rich clay. The climate of both vineyards – temperate, with heavy rains and low summer temperatures, which allows the grapes to ripen in the best conditions. Wide range between day and night temperatures is ideal for preserving the flavor and acidity of the grapes.
Harvested in late September-early October. By this time the berries reach the deepest colors, full of flavor and a nice state of tannins. Part of the dried grape attic, while the other part is vinified classical method using yeast. The dried grapes destebliruetsya, press, combined with the wine that was made in the classical style, and fermented at a temperature of 25-30 C with frequent pumping. Then the wine is placed in barrels, which produces malolactic fermentation and aging for 12-18 months. After bottling the wine is aged for a year in the bottle. Complexity and superb structure of the wine will allow him to maintain and develop in the bottle for 15 years.

De Stefani family with great love and passion involved in the cultivation of vines and produces great wines. During this time, greatly enhanced ownership economy, updated methods of work in the vineyards. Today there are only organic methods of work, short trimmed vines annually green berry picking and does not use any irrigation systems. All this leads to the fact that the vines give very low quality crop that is necessary for the production of thin and fine wines “premium” class, which is famous for the family De Stefani.

Wines of De Stefani can be found in all the most important wine guides in Italy, such as the “Gambero Rosso-Slow Food”, “Italian Sommelier Association”, “Veronelli”, “Espresso” and “Luca Maroni”. Wines of De Stefani imported various companies working with the best restaurants, hotels and boutiques in more than 20 countries on four continents.
