Description
Red semisweet wine “Uomo”, Veneto IGP fully justifies its name – Italian for “Uomo” means “man”. Grape varieties Merlot and Corvina are grown in the vineyards of the company, located on the sunny side of the hills near Lake Garda. The average age of the vines is 50 years. The berries are harvested by hand in the morning at the end of September. Fruits undergo the procedure “appassimento” within 100 days. Matured wine is 12 months in barrels made of Slavonian oak, then another 6 months in barriques of French oak. Potential fault “Uomo” is 5-7 years.
