Description

“Poggio Ai Chiari” – a top wine of Colle Santa Mustiola. Its label depicts a famous view to the bird’s-eye view Leonardo da Vinci, making allusion to the side of the highest quality of the drink. The composition of the wine is truly unique: it presents all 28 clones of Sangiovese grown in the vineyards of Santa Mustiola Colle. After a long maceration and fermentation of the must is placed in large Slavonian oak barrels for a period of 36 to 48 months. Then, exposure is continued in bottles for another 24 months. In the sale of wine “Poggio Ai Chiari” comes not earlier than 6 years after the harvest.
