Description
Chateau Manavi, Pirosmani is a semi-dry table red wine, for the production of which Saperavi and Muscat grapes are used, grown on the fertile soils of Kakheti. The dry and hot climate of the region creates ideal conditions for the cultivation of grapes. The region’s soils are alluvial and deluvial; there is also chernozem, carbonate humus and loam. The wine is named after a Georgian artist who worked in the style of primitivism – Niko Pirosmani. Wine is produced in accordance with the Law of Georgia “On Vines and Wine” dated 12.06.1998. After harvesting, which is carried out at the time of optimal ripeness of the berries, the grapes undergo traditional vinification at a controlled temperature with a forced stop of fermentation when the optimal level of residual sugar is reached. Good value for money is an important advantage of Chateau Manavi wines.
