Description
“Aurvin” Chardonnay is a drinkable and refreshing wine made from hand-picked Chardonnay grapes grown in an ecologically clean wine region in the south of Moldova. The climate in this region is classified by Kppen Geiger as Cfa “Moderately warm”. This, combined with the favorable properties of the carbonate chernozem soil, creates conditions that allow the grapes to fully develop and gain maximum sugar content. Acidity is also preserved, which is very important for the fresh style of this wine. Vinification and aging in special metal tanks also pursue this “refreshing” goal.
Aurvin is a Moldovan wine producer whose winery is located in the south of Moldova, in the Valul lui Traian area. The name of the region comes from the time of Emperor Trajan, who helped the Romans defend themselves against the barbarians. Today, there are monuments from the late antiquity period.
The Aurvin plant is ISO certified every year, confirming that its management and processing processes meet high requirements.
