Wine Albamar, “Seibo”, Valdeorras DO, 2017

Description

“Seibo” is the result of a new project by the Albamar winery in Valdeorras. This wine is the result of a dream, passion and the desire to achieve maximum freshness and show the character of the terroir. It is made from Godello grapes grown in a single plot in Valdeorras at an altitude of 500 meters. The harvest is pressed in whole bunches, with the stems, and the resulting must is spontaneously fermented with natural local yeasts. A quarter of the wine is then aged on the lees in steel tanks and the rest in French oak barrels for 9 months.
