Churchill’s, Crusted Port – red sweet fortified wine of the highest quality, created from a blend of Portuguese grape varieties avtothonnyh: Tinta Roriz, Tinta Francesca, Tinta Baroque Turiga Nacional, Tinta Turiga Frank and Kao. Category “Crusted” means that the port is not vintage, but very high quality, the same as the vintage and is based on vintage port is not less than two vintages. Excerpt Porto takes place in oak barrels, then Porto bottled without filtering and further matured in the bottle for at least 3 years. Krasted Port – this is the only port on the label which indicates the year of bottling. Before serving, decanting is recommended for 2 hours.
Company Churchills Graham was created relatively recently – in 1981, but managed to gain recognition in world markets as a clear leader in the production of the best Portuguese ports. Family Chrchil-Graham – Carolyn Chrchil, her husband John Graham and his brothers Anthony and William – was able to acquire and restore the three-castle estates in Rua da Fonte Nova, belonging to several vineyards. Age of vines grown here is 70 years, with half of vineyards according to Portuguese wine inventory belongs to the highest category – “A” class, which include the highest quality and expensive grapes.
